Again trying to get the most out of my summer wardrobe these last few weeks with white jeans and hot pink. Now you can wear white past Labor Day (I fully support this) but there's just something about white jeans that scream summer. Paired with hot pink and you have a perfect late summer outfit.

Now let's talk about this statement necklace. It's probably the prettiest necklace I own and instantly makes an outfit. Mirina Collections has so many gorgeous necklaces, it's hard to pick just one. To help you choose I'm offering a 20% promo code to all my readers, just enter "nikki20" at the checkout. All the jewelry is hand made so it can take about 2-3 weeks to ship but I'm telling you it's worth the wait (they do offer express shipping which takes 6-10 days for domestic or international).

Thanks Mirina Collections and thanks for reading!

More Off the Shoulder

Obviously I'm not sick of the off the shoulder trend yet. One of the reason I like it is because you're showing skin but you can get away with wearing something that fits loose everywhere else, this dress is a perfect example of fashion and comfort.

The details on this dress are beautiful and the styling opportunities are endless. I've already worn it a couple times. While it looks great with simple black accessories, I've paired it with tan lace up sandals and think it would look great with white or nude heels too.

I'm trying to get the most out of my favorite summer outfits and start planning for fall so I think I'll be wearing this dress a couple more times till then. Thanks for reading!

Transitional Skirt

Stepping out of my comfort zone again with this outfit. While I love the colors, fit, and stripe pattern of this skirt, pairing it with an equally tight crop top isn't something I would normally do (especially when I was going to a steak house for dinner). But since this is what I had to work with I went for it and I'm happy I did.

This skirt's texture is great and makes it a perfect transitional piece for this time of year. It's a soft knit material and I can't wait to wear it with a cozy turtleneck in the fall. I also just found out this skirt has a matching top available at Nordstrom as well.

I mentioned I wore this look to dinner but before dinner we went to the John Hancock center in Chicago to snap some pictures and the views were gorgeous. We went during the sunset and I would highly recommend going at that time, below is just one picture but you get the idea.

Now and Later

I know it's still summer and I plan on enjoying what's left of the warm weather BUT fall fashion is my favorite so I'm starting early. Don't worry though, I don't plan on doing full on fall outfit posts anytime soon (however it is Cleveland so fall may come sooner rather than later).  I like to buy pieces that I don't have to wait forever to wear so looking for transitional pieces is key. There's no need to break the bank when the seasons change either, below are my favorite items all under $80 bucks!
