Sometimes I need to refresh my style and whenever I do that I tend to go for more bohemian pieces, like this skirt. It's a folkish (definitely not a real word) print and a longer length that makes it more laid back. It's also high waist so it's a great way to add a crop top to an outfit.
Overall the skirt reminds me of a hippie and as a history lover sometimes my outfits reflect different time periods. Speaking of hippie outfits, I'm heading to a music festival this weekend and we all know those are the best for bohemian looks. Flower crowns and flash tattoos here I come.

Heat Wave
It was finally feeling like summer this weekend with some high temperatures. Whenever it gets warm I notice my style becomes very minimal. Less makeup, less jewelry, flat sandals, and hair up. This outfit is exactly that 'less is more' feel. I added the hat because I was outside all day in sun and also because my curly hair in this heat is impossible. Hats and headbands all day in the summer.
What's your summer go to style? Thanks for reading!

Causal Florals
As much as I love dresses in the summer sometimes you just need a pair of denim shorts and causal top. Floral print will never go out of style (at least in my mind) so if you see a style you like go for it! This top could easily be dressed up with white jeans and wedges. It's hard to tell from the picture but this top even has pockets so buying it was a no brainer.
I wore this look last weekend to a wine festival, if you're looking for a festival in your area or another fun summer event check out Eventbrite. You simply put in your city and a listing for all upcoming concerts, festivals, fitness classes, and more will show up. It's really easy to find something fun to do and I love that it all the events are in one place. Also check out their event management page, the tools there can help you manage your own event.

Home Decor under $100
Moving sucks. There's really no other way to say it. We're in the process of moving right now. I wish I could just buy all new things instead of packing, but since my budget won't let that happen I've been looking at a few different home decor items (all under $100 bucks) to add to our new home.
Small items can really make a room and help with a smaller space. Pillows, wall art, and small end tables are all cheap ways to make an area feel new again. Target and Home Goods are two of my favorite stores to find fun home decor on a budget but if you're looking online Urban Outfitters, Ikea, and H&M (I just found out they sell home items) are great options.
