Neutrals

I don't know why I waited so long to try the all white trend. It's going to be my new go to outfit and is so easy to recreate. I stuck with neutrals, tan accessories really make the white pop, but you could do different shades of neutrals like blush or even more white.

Sometimes the most simple outfits become an easy favorite.

And yes I finally ventured outside for photos! Hopefully I can keep that up. Thanks for reading!

Day to Night Dress

I have been on the hunt for a dress that is perfect for work and play for a long time. And I've finally found it! This dress is longer in the back so it's really comfortable to wear in the office with flats but add some heels and a cute purse and I wore this dress out on a Saturday night. Not to mention, it has pockets!

And the best part? This dress is also on sale.

Another quick note about this outfit; these shoes! I'm in love with them. They're really comfortable (despite the reviews online? I'd recommend going up a 1/2 size). I already have a bunch of different outfit ideas in my head to pair these beauties with. Thanks for reading!

Wedding Season on a Budget

This post is basically me panicking because of the amount of weddings Kevin and I are attending this year. Hint: It's a lot.

So in order to be prepared I've rounded up some of my favorite dresses. The best part about this post is all the dresses are under $100. If none of these are your style I would still recommend checking out the stores below, they all have great dress options.

Another great option if you have a ton of weddings to attend  and would like to save some money on dresses, check out Rent the Runway. I've rented dresses for various work events and my experience has been wonderful. My best advice is to read all the reviews on the dress you're interested in, especially the reviews from someone with a similar body and height as yourself.

Denver

Well it's back to reality. Vacation month is over :(

Denver was gorgeous, even prettier than I imagined and the pictures don't do it justice. I manged to take more pictures this trip, but then I realized I wore shorts/jeans, a t-shirt, or work out clothes the whole time..so the outfit posts would be rather dull. Denver was a really laid back city so the jeans and t-shirt vibe worked.

On another clothing note, the work out gear in the below picture is all from Old Navy and I got it all for under $50 (including a tank that's under the jacket), I recommend checking them out if you're looking for some fitness motivation. Thanks for reading!

Airport Style

Whenever I travel I like to be as comfortable as possible. This normally requires leggings or yoga pants and a t-shirt as my standard airport outfit. Most of the time I'm heading to the airport before dawn so the thought of putting on jeans is the last thing on my mind, however, this past trip we had a flight in the afternoon so I tried something a little different.

And by different I mean I threw on my most comfortable high waist jeans, a sweatshirt, and a soft scarf.

Even though the outfit isn't fancy it still looks put together. I would wear this running errands or going to brunch, and I actually did wear this outfit again while in Denver (pictures coming soon). Thanks for reading!

Spring Sandals-Under $100

I love the ease of slipping on a pair of sandals in the spring/summer. It all started with Old Navy's $2 flip flops and my collection continues to grow. Sadly, my collection is collecting dust at the moment but once Ohio starts acting like it's spring I can't wait to pull some of these styles out!

There are so many different types of sandals but for this post I'm focusing on flat styles that are all under $100. Thanks for reading!

1. Embellished: Heels tend to dress up an outfit but these jeweled sandals can do that without the height.

Forever 21

2. Gladiators:  This style has become a classic. You can go bold with lace up knee version or stick with an ankle style.

 3. Tassels: I love this trend for spring in all aspects, especially on sandals. These are a steal too!

4. Slides: A dressed up flip flop is what I think of these. The leopard print is a staple for any closet.

5. Neon: Adding a pop of color to any outfit is the easiest way to make a simple black sun dress ready for a dinner or movie in no time.
